Wine is a perishable good and its integrity may be affected by exposure to warm or cold temperatures during transit. We do our best to monitor the weather along our entire shipping network. It is important that when determining our shipping schedules, we factor the weather along the entire route from origin to destination. Therefore, it is possible that orders will be placed on a weather hold if the weather conditions are not conducive to shipping wine.
“Fly Me To The Moon” Ramsey Lewis Trio, Ramsey Lewis Trio at the Bohemian Caverns (1964)
Perfumed and breezy, this Cabernet Sauvignon ambles along at a confident and calm pace, solidly grounded in the old vine wisdom from Block 1 (1980) with a bit of Block 17 (1992) to feather in a bit of richness. It saunters, unveiling brushes of dusty loam and basalt with steady, rhythmic keys of dried herbs all sprinkled atop bass notes of brown sugar and sun-ripened raspberries. Its nimbleness belies its depth and leaves one riveted.
We love adding another layer to our line up... introducing STRATIS.
This lot of 100% Merlot was such a standout that it beckoned us to bottle it as a single varietal. It has the bounce and crunch of jumping into a pile of freshly raked leaves as it envelops you in violets and velvet.
55% Merlot | 45% Malbec
“Push Push” Herbie Mann, Push Push (1971)
Our Old HWY Red is a sultry slow burn. The ever-opaque Malbec performs its slow burlesque over the 15 months in barrel, unveiling layers of plump fruit in buxom waves. In that same time, the Merlot reveals its savory and earthy side, harkening to the supple grooves of the valley from whence it came. Woven together, their undeniable appeal will draw you into a very pleasant evening.
Since it's first vintage in 2005, we aim for a Cabernet Franc that celebrates the cooler climate style, retaining verve and pep. A continual favorite among the staff and guests, our Cab Franc has become like an old friend: a welcome visitor that continues to delight and comfort whether fresh off the bottling line or dug out from the cellar.
